Convert install Sheild program to MSI

Hi Guys

I have been trying to using Install shield response file to uninstall a vpn software but the issue is the computers reboot. I could not suppress it.
I want to know if there is a way to convert the setup file to msi using a msi builder. I want a builder other then wininstall LE.

Thanks,

You can try Installshield Repackager 8 @ http://www.leinss.com/blog/?p=240

However, capturing a setup that deals with binding/unbinding services with TCP/IP would probably be a really bad idea.  I speak from experience. :)

Drivers/services are unique per NIC, so if you are going to attempt something like this, make sure you test it on every make of NIC and model of NIC you have, and that you have system restore points on each of the test systems.

I want to uninstall NETScreen Remote from the all laptops. The application is a install Sheild application and it did create an uninstall response file.
The problem is it is restarting the computer even thou I made the bootoption=0.
If you uninstall the application manually in the end you can cancel the restart and it will not restart the computer I would like that to happen but still cann't get any success.
The command line I am using is
Setup.exe /s /f1"C:\temp\answerfile.iss"
Below please find the response file. (answerfile.iss)

I'm not too familiar with Installshield packages, but if I had to guess, setup.exe is just a wrapper for a MSI file.

Take WinRAR and see if you can open up the original setup program.  There's probably a MSI file hiding around in there.

If so, try "msiexec /x name_of_program.msi /qb /norestart REBOOT=ReallySuppress"

I wish if that was the case but it is not an msi wrapper that why I created that answer file.
Thanks.

I tried the installsheild wrapper and it did not help much it. I will still give you the points because you have the information on a product I did not know about.
Many thanks,
