We use Lotus Notes 8.02 client. &nbsp;We wish to use the full featured Sametime client instead of the integrated barebone Sametime client in the Notes client.<br />

I go in and disable the integrated Sametime client, remove the IM server address, etc and the integrated client goes away for a while - only to appear again later. &nbsp;This makes me have to Sametime clients running.<br />

Is there a server side policy setting that could be setting this? &nbsp;Our Domino server is managed by outside staff and I need to know what to ask them to check.<br />

How to Disable Lotus Notes Client Integrated IM (for good)?

Lotus Software produced the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program, and later developed Lotus Notes, a groupware and email system. Following its acquisition by IBM, the Notes and Domino client/server collaborative platform were expanded to include functions such as email, calendars, to-do lists, contacts management, teamrooms, discussion forums, file sharing, microblogging, instant messaging, blogs, and user directories. IBM also release SmartSuite, a comprehensive office suite, and followed that with Symphony, unrelated to the Lotus suite of the same name.
