GOTOMYPC connectivity iIssue

I have a client with a laptop running Vista Home Premium who wants to use it to connect to his office PC. His Office PC runs XP Pro SP3, and has the GOTOMYPC Pro s/ware installed onto it. This guy has bought a new laptop and even now when he is at home or at any other location that has an internet connection, he cannot connect to his work PC at all.
We have tried the usual, disabling Windows F/wall, defender, and the Symantect AV but still to no avail. It works fine when connecting from another PC, so it must be specific to his laptop. Any ideas of anything else we can try to resolve.
When going to the GotomyPC website, we can see the PC as being Online, but when clicking on it to connect to it, it times out after constantly trying to establish a connection.
Any further ideas would be great.
