MMC could not create the snap-in for Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager CLSID {full number}

I installed Microsoft SQL server 2k, then I tried to spend console root and Microsfot SQL servers, it showed me the error like:
MMC could not create the snap-in for Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager CLSID {full number}. How can I fix this?

    I searched your web followed this.  Go to Start\Run. Type mmc. Click on OK.
    Go to File/Add-Remove Snap-in. Click on Add. Select Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager from the list. the popping out windowns on Microsoft Managerment Console
    Name: Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manger
    CLSID: {******-****-******}.
    I use windows server 2003 and SP2.
    I also tried to download .net3.5, it doesn't work.

    Any other idear?

    some suggestion is reinstall IE, I did but no work.

    I also copied SQL Server Enterprise Manager.msc from CD to local drive

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\.. to replace this local file which I could not open, then I tried to open EM again, it still is the same error.  Please help!

    I have tried reinstall .NET framework 3.5, it doesn't help.

    Did you try a repair install of MSSQL Client Tools yet?

    Installing SQL Server 2000 SP4 resolves this issue.


    Have you uninstalled SQL Server 2005 from that machine. That might have uninstalled backward compatibility and hence you might face this issue.
