    Accepted Solution

    Hi mangala9,
It depends what type of outputs the laptop has and the type of inputs the TV sets has.
Let's start with a question: What type of outputs does the laptop have? For instance, my laptop has an S-video output.
If you're not sure, please post a link to your laptop manual.

I decided to use the new HDTV and forget doing anything interim. Your question made me realize I was trying something that I didn't need to do.
