Lost all my personal Folders in the folders list on outlook 2003.

Hi

All my personal folders I had listed under "inbox" are gone.

Inbox still has my recent emails and Contacts etc are all OK

Also about a month ago, I noticed I could not turn outlook off.

Even thought I closed the program, it was still receiving email and displaying my Tasks when due whish is annoying. The program has also been running slowly.

Regards

Greg

Try this:

1. First, go to Run and type regedit.
2. Locate the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Options
3. Right click on Options, click Add Value, then add the following registry value:
Value name: DumpsterAlwaysOn
Data type: DWORD
Value data: 1
4. Open outlook > Go to Tools > Recover Deleted Items option and recover your e-mail.

For the Outlook problem: Try reconfiguring your outlook profile, if no luck then try reconfiguring your windows local login profile.
