I have a Windows 2000 server that holds <automatically generated> replication connections of all domain controllers from other sites within the domain.  However, that server is getting ill and I'd like to demote it.  Is there a way to move those <automatically generated> connections to another DC or other DC's?  Thanks.

You don't need to move replication connections between DCs.
Each DC in a domain and forset will automatically generate site / replication / transport links between itself and others.
When a DC is added or removed, the KCC will remove and regenerate links as appropriate.
