We have 5 Blackberry's connected to our BES (Blackberry Professional Server)...

We have a power cut at the moment so the BES is down....however now none of the blackberry's are able to access the internet at all.....we can receive calls and SMS's but nothing else.

Isnt it possible to have the blackberry's access the internet Via the Vodafone UK network if the BES is down?

Hi, if you go to Options > Advanced Options > Browser you can set the default browser to Vodafone Live (assuming you havent disabled WAP via the BES I.T Policy).  Also if WAP hasnt been disabled you should see the Vodafone browser on the application screen.  Please be aware that additional charges may apply when using the carriers WAP browser so ensure you call Vodafone to confirm.

I've been looking in the BES IT policy and can't seem to find which section you disable / enable the WAP ?...

In IT Policy > Device-Only > Enable WAP Config.
