Having all emails arrive to Two computers - exact mirror of each other.
A user here retrieves all his work /office)emails via Exchange on his desktop computer.
When he goes home he wants an "exact" mirror of all his emails on his laptop.
What is the best way to configure this - a POP account?

Xtravagan thanks for those suggestions....why do you think the VPN solution is the best and POP3 the least preferable?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Set up Outlook over http on his pc at home. No vpn needed, and he can still use the actual outlook client, and it is direct replication of exchange.
I wouldn't use vpn if all he needs is email.
Don't use the pop service, as it is sometime problematic, plus you end up with issues if it is not set up correctly.

mike, when you say setup "outlook over http" - what do you mean?
This article will give you a brief description, as well as show you how to configure it on his machine.
Basically it is a way for him to connect to the exchange server even though he is not currently in the network (office).

Many thanks everyone for contributing to this thread.
Otherwise enable outlook web access?
Third option would be IMAP
And last option would be POP3
