I am developing a web page, right now I have an issue related with the famous "IE not quite support z-index" problem. The problem is drop down menu got overlap by an image in the main body as shown in the attached image. Tried many methods but none of them able to solve my problem. It work fine in other browser but this bug is haunting me in IE

P.S. the javascript part used in this page only load a html <img> tag into the div "project_image"

Good news is that they work correctly in IE8 with the improved CSS implementation.  Looking at the CSS from the source, the img div is not explicity given a z-index.  Have you tried to explicity declare this?

Hi there,

You need to add javascript. No other solution for this.

I am sorry that I can not try the solution myself, I don't have IE 6 installed.
