wireless linksys router issues

Hi,
Iam using linksys wireless router wrt4g in my house.

That is secured with ssid.But two of my neigbours nearby use same technology with out securing their network.

So I get problem of getting connected to these non secured wireless routers with out my knowledge.So internet connecting is intermittent for me as I getting switched over these non secure wireless networks.

Please provide a soultion.

Well you could suggest to your neighbors that they, too, should secure their wireless networks with a password. This would better protect them should someone sit outside their house and connect up. You can also create a wireless profile for your own wireless and set it as the default connection.

If using windows (XP) one could go to wireless advanced properties select the connection tab and deselect the "Connect when this network is range".

Do you have an Intel Wireless Card or the Intel Wireless ProSet?... or do you just have the Windows XP to manage your wireless?

Hi all,
only windows xp manages my network.

Further when i go to advanced properties i see only any available n/w,access point n/w and adhc n/w.options.I donot see the option u mentioned?
