I am trying to backup an SBS2008 with Exchange 2007 (64Bit) with Backup Exec 12.5 running on a Windows 2003 server (32Bit) and get the following Error and Exception:-

Backup- \\server\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group V-79-57344-766 - Cannot log on to MAPI with the specified credentials. Review the resource credentials for the job, and then run the job again.

Backup- \\server.local\E: V-79-57344-65286 - To back up Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, you must install the Exchange Management Tools for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 on the media server. The Management Tools can be installed during a custom install of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

The credentials are correct, I would just like to know if the exchange 2007 tools will load onto a 32 Bit server. has anybody tried this?

thanks in advance

The E2k7 tools will load on a 32 bit box. Most people use the evaluation software (which is available in 32 bit) just to use the mgt tools.
