Open Office to Flash

I need to come up with a solution, where the user (using a simple template) creates 2 or 3 pages, which then needs to be converted to flash (or if this is not possible) some sort of multimedia format (avi for example).

I need to do this on the cheap. So I was thinking use open office impress which can then exported as a flash file. Unfortunately it does not save the automatic timing, so I have to click on the (converted) slide, to advance.

Does anyone know if there is a work around to this, or if there is any other solution out there to my problem?

Many thanks...
