How can I give all users the right to modify power management for the XP computers in a OU?
My XP users are frustrated that their XP laptops to on standby when they close the lid. Is there any centralized way to give them permission to change power management settings?
I understand that they need permission to modify
* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR E\Microsof t\Windows\ CurrentVer sion\Contr ols Folder\PowerCfg
* HKEY_ USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\PowerCfg
?
But how do I do that without having to log on to every PC? Probably some startup script defined in a GPO?
