companyweb windows 2003 sbs no access after security update(no access on server but access from clients)

After automatic update (security updates) the access to
http://compayweb
does not work.
http://server and https://server/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp/ works.
It was after automatic update on Friday the 17th of April.
When I write
http://companyweb
it asks for username and password. if I give that I get an error code
HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
It is only inside the server. From clients it works fine to access "http://companyweb".

There are some known issues with update 963027 and CompanyWeb authentication. The following may be of some help:

They write it is only IE8 but I have it on IE7. I do not manage to get the hot fix KB961143 and I am not sure it will work for IE7.

1st article states it applies to IE7 as well. I have not run into the problem, but there were a lot of references to it in the news groups a few days ago.
The patch is for SBS if you cannot access from the SBS itself. If from a client machine try the option where it says "method 2".

I was out of the office a couple of days.
I have tried to get the patch even from SBS(hot fix KB961143). Looks like Microsoft has withdrawn it. I have treid "method 2" without success. So far I have not managed to solve it. I have done a JPG of the Microsoft SharePoint-Administraion. All execpt http://companyweb works. I have hidden a part of the URL for the other on the JPG. For the http://companyweb it does not exist any possibilty to do "administration". Maybe the problem is connected to that.

Does company web show as "running" in IIS under server name / web sites / in the right hand window?
Also verify there is an alias for company web in DNS under forward lookup zones / domain name / in the right hand window.

Looks like it is "running" under IIS and I have a "alias" under DNS/Forward......
Two pictures to show that. I have taken away IP:s and names.

It definitely sounds like the same issue outlined in the first article.
Can you access using the IP from the server? There was an update several months ago that would block DNS and specific ports. If the IP worked we could look at that option.

The Companyweb Internet page works from clients without problems. It is only inside the SBS. If I
do http://companyweb I get the first picture, see JPG 1. If I do cancel or write a user(administator) and password and do OK twice then I get page 2, se JPG 2.
I red about the hot fix KB961143 on some other pages in Inernet. For me it looked like the patch(hot fix KB961143) was not OK. They had got problems and Microsoft withdrew the patch.
Just tried again and the patch is available again by Mircrosoft but it is only for english server 2003. Do I dare to install that one on a German SBS?
By Automatic Update from Microsoft for SBS is IE8 available since some hours. Shall I install that first or maybe try with the patch first?

The patch has repaired the problem in other similar situations such as:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Server/SBS_Small_Business_Server/Q_24361243.html
However I appreciate your concern about the language differences. That I am not sure of. I agree it seems as if there were issues with the patch but it appears to have been re-released yesterday:

The hotfix 961143 does not fit to 2003 SBS in German. Does it exist a German version? I have tried to find one but without success.

Rob WilliamsCommented:
Sorry, I couldn't find a German version either.

The following article states they were able to solve the problem by just removing the KB963027 update, presumably from add remove programs.
