in fact earlier i was having problem with the windows time service which was automatically disabled.
so i enable it afterwards i see that am having this new problem and my help and support service does not figure in the service as well as not available in the registry.

i cant use help and support service since saying helpctr.exe is not available and cant locate despite its in the c:\windwos\pchealth and so on folders

I suggest that you download Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool to scan your PC:


And also, do a quick scan with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware available from: www.malwarebytes.org.

its on the server 2003

its a very critical server its the file server

The Microsoft Malicious Software Removal tool will run on Windows 2003 server as well. There is nothing to worry, but we need to know what is causing the services to be turned off. Without much information, I can't exactly diagnose what is present on your system and this is why I suggested those scans. They might reveal more information.
