Error when booting into windows
I have a pc that started getting Diskett drive 0 seek failure errors, I called dell and they had me replace the harddrive. It loaded windows then on the reboot it came back to the same error. I have tried to boot into BIO's but it will not, says booting to setup but then comes back to the same error. Any suggestions? PC is a Dell Precision Workstation 530.

Do you get any Blue Screen of Death messages?

no just a black screen

Well I tried unplugging the floppy and rebooting the same message comes up, still cant get into setup mode. Called Dell and we are going to try replacing the mother board.

sry I havent posted in a few days still waiting on Dell to send replacement motherboard.

Well finally got the motherboard and replaced it...now when I start up i get 4 flashin amber lights and the then nothing. I ahve changed the power supply and still nothing.PLease help !!!!

I finally got it to work...had to remove a processor VG. Going to order a replacement part for it. thank you for all your help.
