From where I should run add prep Forest prep? &nbsp;I put th windows 2008 CD on the virtual VM windows 2003 DC navigated to teh adprep folder but the only .exe file is addprep.exe but when I click on it nothing happen.<br />

Adding a new child Domain using Windows 2008, means that I have to run Add Prep and Forest prep as well?<br />

Or Can I simply add it as child DC?<br />

Also the Windows AD 2008 DC require any special license activation. What i mean is if the DC require a licence server some whare on the nework to function properly.<br />
