Backup Software

I'm looking for cheap backup software for around under $100 for back up just data and documents for Windows 2003 server.
I also so like to have full backup and differential or incremental back up.

thank you

You can just use the built in NTBackup.

Hi HOPE-IT,

Norton Ghost is a great tool. Here's the link: http://www.symantec.com/business/products/sysreq.jsp?pcid=pcat_infrastruct_op&pvid=865_1

Also something like Acronis is great too. Here's the link: http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIES/requirements.html

Ghost is not cheap for a server.  Neither is Acronis.

I agree - what's the problem with NTBackup - it works fine.

NEW Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 1.5

With Office 365, it’s your data and your responsibility to protect it. NEW Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 eliminates the risk of losing access to your Office 365 data.

Hello Jerrod and Ieew,

I'm currently using NTbackup but take me a while to setup scheduler :( ... and also NTbackup only keeps data for a month ... I like to keep backup copied for atleast 6 months

I can't think of anything in that price range that will do what you want then. HP RDX is a little pricey, but for what you are looking for will do the job.

That's all I can come up with within that price range.

I see what your trying to do now HOPE-IT, I was thinking of something else, I know that Norton Ghost and Acronis are not cheap however great tools though. The built in NTBackup I think will do just fine.

Would JaBack 8 possibly work? Here's the link: http://www.hiteksoftware.com/jaba/data-backup-software.htm

Hello,

I recommend Genie Backup Manager Server, it's user friendly and reliable backup software, it costs 100$ but they have 50% discount "Easter Offer" , 50$ is so cheap for server backup solution.

Hope this helps.

HOPE-IT,
The RDX will allow incremental backups as well as allow for bare metal recovery.
