Windows Server 2003 CALs - downgrade to SBS 2003 ?

I have 20 unused Windows Server 2003 Standard CALs left over from a project.

I have been asked for some additional licenses for an SBS 2003 Standard.

Can I downgrade them and if so, how ?

I can find plenty of details on SBS Premium to SBS Standard but nothing on Server 2003 to SBS (which in itself could be the answer to my question ;) )

Anyone ?

As far as I know this is no official downgrade path...
You can upgrade SBS to a standard server with the Transition Kit, but I've never heard about the way you want it.

In your case I would contact the Licensing team directly (http://www.microsoft.com/uk/licensing/contact-us.mspx) and ask them if they can offer you a conversion of the CALs...

There is no way to make 2003 STD cals into SBS cals.
