Analysis of Production Reports and Universe

Hi All,

There is a change in the business rules, need to analyze how this change will be getting affected in the current production BO Deski, Webi reports and the BO universes.

For example, previous they were using table field called CODE to define the logic in the report variables and universes objects / filters. Say, If the first letter of the code is CODE=2 then X else Y; As per the new business rule, the total length of number got increased from 6 to 7 digits, and the new number first letter will start with 3.

So need to analyze this in the production universes (around 200) and reports (12000+) and to implement this new number logic where ever it is required in reports and universe.

Please let me know if you have any approach for analyzing the reports and universe and finally to generate list of reports and universes which need modifications.

Please let me know if you have any BO tools for this analysis.
