Recreate DNS primary zone file

I have a DNS primary zone, I want to backup its zone file, but it didn'tget created when I go to C:\windows\system32\DNS  directory.

Is there any way to create it, so that I can back it up?

Thanks

I see event ID 6527.
Zone zonename.net expired before it could obtain a successful zone transfer or update from a master server acting as its source for the zone.  The zone has been shut down.
