Unable to send e-mail invitations in Microsoft Office Live Meeting

Im getting this error when we try to invite an attendee to Live Meeting... any ideas what I could try? Im using Office Communicator 2007 Standard also...

Microsoft Office Live Meeting

Unable to send e-mail invitations. If you have Microsoft Outlook 2002 or later, make sure it is your primary e-mail program and then try again.
If you are using another e-mail program, create and send an e-mail invitation that includes the meeting information from the Meeting pane.

Just wanted to add... Im using Office 2007, so Outlook 2007 is our primary e-mail program being used companywide.

Try this kb first  Additionally check HKLM AND HKCU\Software\Clients\Mail (Default) to make sure they are set to Microsoft Outlook.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I found that and did try it. Microsoft Outlook is set as the default in the registry and also in the default programs settings :(

    Assisted Solution

Are you on OCS 2007 R1 or R2 or LCS 2005?  If not R2, what version of the Live Meeting client do you have installed? Are you trying to launch LM without MOC interface and just using the Outlook add in?  If OCS, is enhanced presence enabled? Does all other functionality of OCS work and finally, is the LM policy configured correctly on the Server global policy?  Can you browse through IE to your LM site?  If not Have you looked at IIS settings and permissions?
