Unarchive folder/files that were achived by mistake

I have archived from a date that was way earlier by mistake. All my emails have populated in the archive folders. I tried to simply drag the folder up to the mailbox but in then creates a "inbox1" folder which is not what I want. I want all the folder to go back to where they were in the first place. Basically I want to merge all of my folders with the ones that are in my inbox. I am looking for some type of a program that will allow me to move multiple folders around. I don't know if there is anything out there but it would be nice. Maybe there is a shortcut to this and I am just not seeing it. I orginally thought if I could change the name of "inbox" to "inbox2" and then change "inbox1" to "inbox" but there is no way to change the inbox name that I know of.

    Accepted Solution

Just use the import wizard in Outlook off the File menu. Outlook will put the content in to the same folders in the main mailbox.
