Where did you get the package from? &nbsp;I have run into cases where the package just was not intended for a network install. &nbsp;This may be your case.

I just did the same as you did, though I didnt get that data1.cab error, it still did not install the way it should. &nbsp;In these cases, I have just dumped the actual msi on the network and ran it with &quot;msiexec /i quicktime.msi /quiet&quot; in a batch file just as it is from the clients.

I am trying to create a network installation point for a roll out of the newest Quicktime player. I have ran the msiexec /a package.msi and it doenst want to work. Is there something I am missing? Windows 2003 AD with 75 WinXP SP3 wrkst.
