Can VB.net Windows app run on Windows CE?

I have a VB.net Windows app that I created for XP pro, and have been successfuly using for a number of years.  I have a new customer, that would like to use the app on a handheld device (Windows CE).  Is this possible?  If so, what steps are needed?  Any help greatly appreciated.

no

1) You can remote dekstop into a computer that has in installed
2) rewrite it

Thank you.  Just so I understand, in googling this topic, I have seen the compact . net framework mentioned.
So this is of no use, and does not relate to VB.net apps, that work with standard .net framework?

(I realize you have already said no.  Just trying to understand the larger picture.)
Thank you again for your reply.

The Compact .Net Framework is a skimmed down version of the framework. It has a much smaller footprint and is build to run on Windows Mobile devices.

From Visual Studio (Pro edition or better), you need to create a project that specifically targets the Compact Framework (there is a template to do that).

Also, you won't all the same controls. For example, if you bought a 3rd party grid for your WinForms application, this grid won't work on Compact .Net.

I have a simple application using a few windows forms, and updating a few fields in a database.  Is there any chance that the forms/code would be re-usable (or partially re-useable0 when "Create a compact framework application for CE device"?
Thank you again for your replies.

if they were encapsulated, sure

the logic can surely be reused but the UI cannot.

Also, you talked about database. What kind of the database are you expecting to use? Often, SQL Compact is used, which once again a trimmed down version, and many features are not supported (like Stored Procs, ...).
