Slow VPN connection >_<

Some users have been complaining about a slow VPN connection to our new facility. Recently we moved and upgraded from 1 data T-1 line to 2. So we have almost a 3 meg pipe download/upload.

Currently we use a SonicWall 3060 and a HP DL380 server with Win 2003. The person who was complaining of slowness uses the generic Linksys wireless router that came with all the Comcast installs a few years ago, and uses it on his laptop.

Any thoughts or ideas to troubleshoot/increase VPN speed?

(Have tried using the SonicWall Global VPN client vs Microsoft VPN, doesnt seem to make any noticeable differences).

I think because of network bandwidth of your user. How many user in your org? Which others services (Exchange, Antivirus...) in Windows 2003 VPN Server?

No matter how you try it a VPN connection will be about 10mbs.
Another way to spell VPN is SLOW...
Throw into the mix bad connections, home wireless connections, and about a thousand other things then the user experience is never very good especially if they are used to fast responses at work..

Yes, running Exchange too, with about a dozen VPN users (but almost none of them using at the same time) and using Symantec Corporate Edition (10.0.0.1) on the Win 2003 Server.

Slowest common denominator, what ever the slowest link is (in this case a laptop on a wireless connection) then that is as fast as your gonna go.
