IE7 and IE 8 unable to handle MHT and DXL format

I have a problem with my terminal server 2008. The problem is the IE built in with 2008 unable to open .MHT format. We also have Quickview plus installed here to handle/viewing some of the other extension

We have upgraded the IE to IE8 to see if the problem fix it self but it didn't Although we got it to work on another machine with window live mail. Tried to do the same on the Terminal Server and it is not working. If i have quickview plus handle HTML format when I tried to open MHT file i get
"res://ieframe.dll/navcancl.htm#C:\Users\administrator.LDATAHOU\Desktop\ours.mht" and the message nagivation to the page was canceled. If i removed the HTM from quickview plus then when i try to open MHT file the ie window open and it closes immediately and it pops up a message "file download security warning" NAME: navcancl. FROM ieframe.dll -- it has 3 options to find-save-cancel. Before it used to display the page with the message "the navigation to the page was canceled" or nothing being displayed at all. How do i fix this problem

    You may try two options.

-Try resetting IE settings. Go tools -> Internet options -> advanced tab -> click on reset button
-Try reinstalling IE8 on the server. It will create the registry if any thing is missing on the server
