Restart mysql daemon with innodb support

Hi,
i have install mysql server from rpm. ( in Centos), so by default it was innodb enabled.
to do some testing, i stop the server and restart it without innodb support
/etc/init.d/mysql start --skip-innodb
so its disalbed the innodb engines.
but now question is, how will i enable it with start command ?
i tryed this command
/etc/init.d/mysql start --with-innodb, but no luck,
so can yo please tel me what command should i use ???
thanks

Sorry didnot understand,

[root@evlt020 etc]# /etc/init.d/mysql restart --with-innodb
Shutting down MySQL.                                       [  OK  ]
Starting MySQL.Manager of pid-file quit without updating fi[FAILED]

do you want me put
--with-innodb in my.cnf file ??

K VDatabase ConsultantCommented:
There is nothing like --with-innodb.
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/server-options.html

If you don't find skip-innodb in your my.cnf file, then just start mysql as usual without any command-line-option.
/etc/init.d/mysql restart

you can alter table and change its engine to innodb.

Section1
[root@evlt020 InnDB]# ls
db.opt         inn_test1.MYD  inn_test.frm    test_inn12.frm
inn_test1.frm  inn_test1.MYI  test_inn11.frm  test_inn12.ibd

section2
 select * from test_inn12;
ERROR 1286 (42000): Unknown table engine 'InnoDB'

section 1 is showing i had created table with innodb
section2 is showing table engine InnodB does not support ..

Please do:
/etc/init.d/mysql restart
And post output of:-
show engines;

Also check your my.cnf (or my.ini in case of windows) for skip-innodb : if found comment.
