    Accepted Solution

try to browse OAB.XML from IIS and check if you get 500
manually delete the web.config file from the following location
    "%systemdrive%\Programs Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Client Access\OAB"

Remove the IIS redirection and then run the following commands:
    1) Remove-OabVirtualDirectory -Identity "CAS_Server_Name\OAB (Default Web Site)
    2) New-OABVirtualDirectory -InernalURL ""

Can you just flesh out a couple of your instructions please:

try to browse OAB.XML from IIS and check if you get 500

    Remove the IIS redirection

It seems I have problems with my OAB which i can't work out.  When I browse to it using a web browser, I get the following errors:

HTTP error 500.19 - Internal Server Error
The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

    Error Code: 0x90070005

Also, the OAB icon in IIS 7 appears as a Yellow folder, rather than the icon for an application (the globe).
