I have upgraded from Exchange 2003 server 2003 OS to Exchange 2007 server 2008 OS it is running in coexisting mode, Currently I have migrated over a few mailboxes. All  roles are installed on the Exchange server CAS, Mailboxes, EMC, the 2008 server is not a domain controller. Users on Exchange 2003 are logging into OWA no problem, but this is not working for Exchange 2007, not even internally let alone externally, can anyone provide me with step by step instructions to get this up and running persuming it is possible to have both OWA working for 2003 and 2007. If I have left out any details please let me know, Thanks

It should work straight out of the box.
Go to https://server2007/owa (where server2007 is the server's name) inside your network and you should get a username and password prompt. After authenticating you should be logged in.

Otherwise you need to be more clear about what is not working.

When I try this url I just get a blank screen in IE, I also tried it on the new Exchange server and blank page "Internet explorer cannot display this page" Is it something to do with IIS7?

Is IIS 7 running?
As I said, it should work straight out of the box. If it does not then I usually remove Exchange using add/remove programs and reinstall it again. If something like OWA doesn't work then I wonder what else hasn't installed correctly.

There is nothing to setup. You should be able to install Exchange, create a new user and immediately go to server/owa and login without making any other configuration settings on the server.

If I go ahead with an add/remove of Exchange 2007 will it hold all my current settings as I have moved over 5 mailboxes including the besadmin account and mailbox setup? yes IIS is running, I just turned off the OS firewall as I thought it might have been that.

Move the mailboxes back before you uninstall the product.
Other things may be retained, it depends if the settings are something stored in the domain or server specific.

Hi simon

Just going through the uninstall phase of Exchange2007 SP1, not so straight forward should I uninstall the routing group connector from the Ex2007 server?

You can remove the routing group connector. Use remove-routinggroupconnector from Powershell.

Sorry regarding delay in getting back, I uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck,
I then removed the OWA virtual directory and  recreated them and all worked fine.
