Is there any way to Auto-Indent in Dreamweaver CS4?
At the following link:
http://www.highdots.com/forums/macromedia-dreamweaver/dreamweaver-cs4-auto-indent-ruined-265804.html
... it is asserted that Dreamweaver CS3's autoindent used to work perfectly, but it's broken in CS4.
Can someone please tell me, Is there any way to autoindent in Dreamweaver CS4?
By using Textpad, a free text editor, I can "clean up" my code by indenting it the way I like. Then, when I re-open it in Dreamweaver CS4, my line-breaks and tabs are all there, but the word-wrap for a long line still wraps starting at the extreme left-hand edge of the page.
Is this my best solution? It does seem strange that I have to use a free utility to fix the untidiness created by Dreamweaver, which cost me hundreds of dollars.
Thanks!
