Cannot Remove Public Folders Exchange 2007 / Windows 2008
I have been trying to uninstall / reinstall Exchange 2007 on a Windows 2008 server. When I try to remove the public folders, I keep getting a message that I cannot remove the Public Folders because replicas exist.
All of the solutions I have found so far say to move the public folders to another server. However, I don't have another server to move the folders to.
I found articles on using ADSI edit to delete the folders. However, either ADSIedit is different in 2008 or I am doing something wrong.
Before I completely rebuild the server, I was hoping someone might be able to supply a procedure to delete the replicas so I can remove the public folders or some other methodolgy that would allow me to reinstall Exchange. Right now I can't remove the mailbox role since I can't remove the Public Folder.

If this is the last public folder store in the org then you need to follow the Microsoft guide: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc164367.aspx
