    Assisted Solution

2003 - Site Collection level only
2007 - The export/import commands can backup a single site

To my knowledge you cannot extract a single site from a Sharepoint backup

    Accepted Solution

You can do it by restoring the site collection to a different url and then export the single site, and then import it to the site of your liking.
