.Net Credit Card Processing

Hi to all,

This is an option that our company is exploring and I know that I will get GREAT and valuable input from the Experts.

We are considering creating our own application to do Credit Card processing. We currently use Visual Studio 2008 and most of our applications are developed through VB.Net, but it does not have to be in VB.

Are there some samples that we can look through that might be of help to us? This is not an online application we need this to be a WinForms Application.

Also, can you maybe assist in what some of the pitfalls might be and what to look out for.

On some further investigation I realized that it would probably be better to go with a third party solution. Not exactly what we were looking for, but it probably would have to do for now.
