I have a Windows Small Business Server that each morning between 7 am and 9 am will stop responding from anywhere from a few moments to completely locking up to the point I will have to reset it via reset switch. There are no entries in the Event Log and the event leaves no dump log when I have to crash the box. I have tried to set up other programs to monitor the system but I have not had any bites.

I am at a loss at what to do next.

I would check the entries under scheduled tasks and any other software that might be set to run during those times.  (Backup software, AV software, WSUS etc...)

You might also try to capture memory and cpu performance logs in the hours leading up to the "scheduled" crash.

Cheers
