SNP converts to XLS in Lotus Notes

I have have read many postings from all different access categories on this,
and still cannot seem to resolve this error. I have created a Macro to email
a snapshot of a report. I use lotus notes as the email client. The .snp will
generate the first time and send the email. The next time I send this an
error is generated and an .xls file is created. I have read the help on this
and delete the temp file stored in the users folder as directed. The error
still continues to happen. Is there any way to resolve this. I do not get
this error from my computer, however other users get this error.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi elizabethus, I take it you have read the MS article;en-us;555020.
This really point the finger at Lotus Notes, you can generate the SNP separately but it still sounds like the problem is with the orphaned file(s) when you go to attach the file to an email.
Are you emailing these to internal people. If so could you put the SNP centrally and email then them that it is there.

Another option is to email a PDF of the Report, instead of a snapshot.

There are many free and inexpensive PDF generators out there:
    I have used these two:
