Removing Lotus Notes Getting Started Page / Home Page from startup

Does anybody know how to remove the getting started page / home page on start-up

You have a couple of options on what you replace it with.

You can either have Notes open directly to the workspace (ie where all your database icons/bookmarks are) or to a specific database.

To do this, you need to find the bookmark of the item you wish to set as the homepage.

If you want to use the Workspace, you will find this in one of the bookmark sets down the lefthand side of the Notes client (where you find your email, calendar and address book icons). In pre Notes 8 clients I think the folder is called "Bookmarks", in Notes 8 and above I think it's called "Applications".

When you find "Workspace", right click on it and select "Set Bookmark as Homepage". This will set the opening page of Notes to the workspace.

Similarly, if you wish to do this with a particular database, put a bookmark to the database on the left hand toolbar, or in one of the folders, right click and select "Set Bookmark as Homepage".
