I have a Gateway laptop Mode, 7322 GZ and wheni am away from home, although the power cord is plugged to the power source, but yet the laptop after some time seems tol power off on its own.  But I have not experienced it at home where the power is connected to a UPC.  Any clue what is going on, or is it just a bad power source when I am away from home. Thanks

It could be a faulty power source, but if it's happening at multiple locations most likely not.

When you are at home do you have your laptop on a desk?  If so when you are away are you using your laptop on your lap?  This could be an overheating issue if so.  Air circulation on your lap or wherever you place your laptop when you are away might be hindered causing the laptop to overheat.
