I have a client who just opened a small call center. Part of the business operations require that each work station and user be assigned a corresponding number (eg: Workstation - 1110ISR, User - 1110); this is done to minimize the amoutn of setup time between employees because telemarketing tends to have a high turnover rate (go figure ;). The network is running AD and and Exchange Server 2003. My question is - how do I get the actual employees name to display in e-mails in the sent from field. Basically, even though employees will be logging in using an assigned numbering schema, the owner wants the actual employee name to display on sent e-mails to help personalize the transactions. Right now if I send an e-mail from the workstation, the sent field shows the number 1110.
