Full-Text Indexing - Retrospective Install

Hi Folks,

I have recently had to install full-text indexing on an existing SQL 2005 box (Workgroup Edition with SP2).

The installation went fine, the service is running and the server has been rebooted. However, if i try to create a catalog i get the message "Full-text indexing is not installed, or a required component cannot be loaded". The "Use Full-Text Indexing" option on the Files tab of the Database properties is also disabled.

Any ideas what i'm missing and how I can get this working?

If you install Full Text Index after applying any Service Packs, then you have to reinstall that Service Packs to make Full Text Indexes work:

For SQL Server 2005 default instance,
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSearch\GlobalAdminBlob

Is there a key named Blob0?
The key indicates the Full Text Search
