Hi Guys,

We have users on a terminal server and we would like to only allow them to open 1 internet explorer session at a time but still have multiple tabs.

Is there a way to do this via GP / registry keys?

Not that I'm aware off - you could limit the usage by Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Tabs... but that would not prevent a user to open a second explorer.

put them behind proxy. proxies have setting to allow only one session or any number of sessions. even if he could open IEs he cant browse in that window hence he will resort himself to one session.
