Unable to install  Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 SP 2 (KB954430)

I have been getting notices to install Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 SP 2 (KB954430). I approve it, and my computer goes through the motions of installing. But it doesn't work, and soon after I am told to install it again.

What can I do to either get this update installed, or get Windows Update to stop bothering me about this? (I would rather have the update, though).

    HI WEBuilder,

Check the known issues to see if that's relevant:

Have you tried a manual download and installation?

    Try the following Steps

    1. Using Microsoft update I hid KB 954430 so that it was not reoffered
while I found a solution. I hid it because I do not like turning off
automatic update.  Turning off the Automatic update would give the same
result.  Make sure you remember to turn it back on. :-)

    2. Downloaded MSXML4-KB954430-enu.exe from:

    3. Deleted MSXML4-KB954430 using Add Remove program in control panel.

    4. Installed MSXML4-KB954430-enu.exe by clicking on it.

I removed the program as per manishmestry, and then reinstalled it using the link given by tapanpattanaik. After a reboot, Windows Update installed it (again?). But after the next reboot, I didn't get the message anymore. HOpefully that will be it forever!
