Cisco ASA 5510 - Failover configuration - how to setup timeout before secondary ASA takes over

I have a strange problem: I have setup two Cisco 5510 ASA-s in Active/Standby mode and they work fine most of the time. But once or twice a day traffic that goes through them stops for a few seconds, and then it starts again. I think that Active ASA concludes that link is down and Standby takes over.
Is it possible to setup a longer timeout  before secondary ASA takes over ?

Any other ideas?

Sure, you would use change the polltime using:

failover polltime interface [msec] time [holdtime time]
