Refresh MS Access Charts

Hello,

I built a form that is acting as a dashboard displaying data in a series of subforms. one subforms is called assignedIds and another is displays a chart based on the number of Ids that are updated... currenlty whenever a user updates data in the assignedIds subform in the DateUpdate the other subform called charts isn't updating... how do i update a chart from another subform when a particular field changes?

You can do a requery to the subform holding the chart in the AfterUpdateEvent of the subform the user changes data with

Me.Parent.frmWithChart.Requery

Or you can update the chart with

Me.Parent.frmWithChart!yourChartName.Object.Application.Chart.Refresh
