Blackberry Wireless sync error - Wireless synchronization has been disallowed by admin
Hello,
We got issues a Blackberry. It is unable to sync calendar items through the Wireless link.
From the desktop, sync from outlook is OK, when switching to BB wireless sync we recieve an error message asking to change translator as the Wireless synchronization has been disallowed by our administrator.
We have no access to the BES server, but According to BES admin, wireless sync is OK.
Thanks for any help.
Regards,
Alain

Thank Both,
Deleting all items fixed the issue.
As we have a BES not a BIS, the services book were resent by connecting the BB to the Desktop Manager with outlook.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Alain

1. Go to Options
2. Select Advanced Options
3. Select Enterprise Activation
4. In the email field hold ALT and type CNFG (or 788445 on a Pearl)
5. When the hidden menu appears change Wireless Sync to NO
6. Exit and Save
7. Wait 30 seconds and repeat step 4
8. Change Wireless Sync back to Yes
9. Exit and Save
10. After approximately 30 seconds you will see an activation status appear. This will perform a slow sync on your device.
11. During the Sync process go back to the calendar options on the device and see if Wireless Synchronization is now present.
