On a form, add a windows media player control. In forms design click on Insert/ActiveX control Windows Media Player (if not there add reference)

Note, this is a different way to your other post where I mentioned how to do it all within vba

Say your windows media player control added to the form (you should see a mini looking media player) is called wmp

to play a file you do this

wmp.url "c:\TheTrooper.mp3"

now u can use that control to play the file

what line?

the activex control you added, what did you name it?
whatever you named it, it should be called that in the code when you load and play a file. The example I gave is wmp

Remember the alternatives as well in your other "video" post
