I receive message in outlook from one sender the font is in white. Can this be changed?

One of my client is receiving messages from one person where the font is in white. All other messages are fine. All of the font color setting refer to outgoing messages not inbound message.

Ask the sender to change his font color :)

or perhaps there is a background image/color that is being blocked by your outlook. Try to allow images to show. It doesnt make sence that the font from the sender is white without any background color.

I have already emailed the sender and the messages can be read by changing the background. That part of the message is correct. I was looking for a place where default properties where received email could be formated. There are plenty of changes that can be made in the email list that can help to highlight particular messages, but I found nothing about the message itself.

You can always set your default properties but for received messages, the sender will have control unless you just set your outlook to receive in plaintext.

Perhaps other experts around know other ways but so far this is as far as I can help.

goodluck :)

I received a message from the sender. It came in fine in black font. He is not sending in white font with a color background. His files are plain text. I picked a message with the plain black font and then made it the default. Still no luck.

The only way I can make them readable is to change the background. It is a work around but not a fix. I am still looking. I am sure it is a setting that got inadvertently set.

I solved my problem from another source. It turns out that it can be set.
Go to Tools/Options then select the Mail Format Tab. Click on the button for Stationery and Fonts. The bottom setting for "Composing & reading pane text messages. You can select a color or automatic. In this case there was not setting, so that whatever got set in the message as it came from the sender was the color. The minute the setting was changed all of the messages corrected their format and were easily readable.
