i have a cd that i cant put on my itunes because it has a copyright block on it

i just tried it and i got the same solution as trying 2 download it on itunes, it skips the first 10 out of 13 tracks
Actually top_rung is correct, the Membership Agreement you clicked "Accept" to when you signed up for the site prevents members posting information on how to defeat copyright protection. There are lots of sites that can probably sort this out for you but Experts-Exchange isn't one of them.

Hi, again, if the copyright it is using is actively preventing you from copying it, attempting to workaround it or breaking it is illegal.
There are several methods to backup your purchased music by bypassing protection, but you will be hard pressed to get specific steps here as previously stated. I think it is ridiculous that you can't easily backup your purchased music, and IMO, the best you can do it not purchase those protected as such- that is the loudest message you can send to the industry. Sorry, but that is the way it is.
