appserv php works on vista, but not phpmyadmin or phpinfo

I have appserv v 2.5.9 working on my vista machine.

If I create a php page, the code works.

If I try to go to a page with phpinfo(), I get a blank page.  If I got to phpmyadmin I get "Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation"

UAC causes a lot of problems for software installations of server components.  It sounds like something did not get installed properly.  My suggestion would be to turn off User Account Control (UAC) in the Security Center and reset Vista.  Then re-install appserv.  When everything is running ok, you can turn UAC back on again.

Thanks, I just did that two times in a row to make sure and it didn't work, any other ideas?
This seems to be a PHP configuration issue. Please check:

- phpinfo() or php -i output for a "Configuration File (php.ini) Path" entry.
Make sure it's matching with your php.ini location.

- extension_dir setting in your php.ini. Is your php_mysql.dll in that directory?
If not, modify the setting accordingly.

Thanks, it was looking in the wrong place.  Once I checked the phpinfo, I was able to figure it out.
